REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

At Karoobling, we are committed to ensuring you have a delightful shopping experience. If you’re not fully satisfied with your jewelry purchase, our Refund and Exchange Policy is designed to make the process seamless. Please review the guidelines below:


1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

  • All returns must be logged within 7 days of your order being delivered.
  • Items must be in their original condition, unworn, and accompanied by the original packaging and tags.
  • Non-returnable items: Karoobling Gift Vouchers are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Note: The item(s) must be in a re-sellable condition to qualify for a refund or exchange.

2. Initiate a Return or Exchange

  • To begin the return or exchange process, email support@karoobling.co.za with:
    • Your order number
    • Reason for return/exchange
    • Any relevant details and photos (if applicable).

3. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received is defective or damaged.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your package arrives safely.

4. Refund Process

  • Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected for eligibility.
  • Approved refunds will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method.

5. Exchanges

  • If you’d like to exchange an item for a different size or style, please contact us to arrange the exchange.

6. Defective or Damaged Items

  • In the rare event you receive a defective or damaged item, contact us immediately for assistance.
  • Important: We are not responsible for damage caused by regular wear and tear. However, if you notice any issues due to wear and tear within 7 days of delivery, email us with clear, high-quality images showing the damage.
  • Any damages reported after the 7-day window will not qualify for refunds or exchanges and will be categorized as regular wear and tear.

7. Care and Maintenance

Karoobling is not responsible for the care or maintenance of your jewelry. By purchasing from Karoobling, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Waterproof and Tarnish-Resistant Jewelry:
While our jewelry is designed to resist water and tarnishing, no guarantees are provided for these features. Water exposure must be kept to a minimum and limited to occasional splashes only. Proper care is essential at all times.

Tarnish-Resistant Jewelry:
“Tarnish-resistant” means the jewelry is designed to reduce the likelihood of tarnishing; however, it does not guarantee that tarnishing will not occur. No refunds or exchanges will be provided for tarnished items, regardless of use.

Product Exposure Restrictions:
Jewelry must not be exposed to:

  • Dishwashing soap
  • Lotions
  • Perfumes
  • Hair products
  • Jewelry cleaners
  • Chlorine
  • Other harsh or abrasive chemicals

Exposure to any of the above voids eligibility for refunds or exchanges.

Discoloration and Skin Reactions:
Jewelry may discolor due to wear, environmental factors, skin oils, or reactions to gold and silver plating. Individual skin chemistry varies, and no refunds or exchanges will be issued for discoloration or reactions caused by skin oils or plating interaction, as this is beyond our control.


8. Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Earrings are non-returnable due to hygiene and safety reasons, ensuring the health and well-being of our customers.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

  • If your refund hasn’t been received within the expected timeframe:
    1. Check with your bank or credit card company for updates.
    2. If the issue persists, contact us for assistance at support@karoobling.co.za.
